We had fun exploring the Augusta History Museum. It was a pleasant surprise to learn that admission is only $1 this month! The kids were able to get on a boat, trolley, and train. The facility is well kept and everyone was nice.

My children and I visited the museum and I was very impressed. There is so much rich history in our beautiful city. I really enjoyed all of the exhibits, we especially enjoyed the James Brown exhibit. It's educational, affordable and local.

Museum staff was very helpful and kind. The museum is very nicely laid out and had many hands on type of experiences. Nice gift shop that is t too pricey. Free parking.

I've taken guests twice and there's something for everyone. Last visit we were offered a free tour by a gentleman whose family has lived in the area for generations. Admission is affordable and there's lots of unique items.

The museum has plenty of well presented displays depicting everything imaginable about Augusta history. Well curated. I spent over 2 hours here and could have stayed at least double. Adult admission was 4 dollars on a Saturday.

I visited the Augusta Museum of History. The museum is in a really nice new building. The exhibits are nicely displayed with plenty of descriptive text. The civil war items were really quite impressive as was the full size steam train.
