This is a nice walking street with many restaurants, stores and pubs. The street is surrounded by similar areas and it's a nice area to hang out.

Although many buildings have been added to Lumpkin Street, it still retains its pleasant on-campus atmosphere. It is a good street to stroll, or you can go on to the old campus and visit some ancient buildings, the Art Museum, and the Main Library.

From Earth Fare to Jittery Joes Coffee, I love this neighborhood. It's fun and alive. Good restaurants, specialty shops, and vintage architecture.

Athens is (was) my favorite city and I went to UGA for grad school, but the new NON-FUNCTIONAL "park-it.com" lots ruined the night for us and many other patrons. Come on Athens! You can do better!!!

The chamber of commerce, court house , visitors center are all located downtown Athens. Also there are many eclectic type shops and places to eat. However, you must pay for parking.

Food and atmosphere are both great. It is a fun place for people of all ages. You can bring your own beer and wine. No credit cards accepted.
