The Christ statue is something to behold, but the views of the city are breathtaking. And if you are up to it, climb the stairs of the ruins as well.

I did not know what to expect when my daughter asked us to visit Picacho. I was so pleased with the beauty of the park, the variety of gardens and activities, and the best view of Tegucigalpa. Unfortunately, because of our late arrival, we were...More

El Picacho gives a great view from above of Tegucigalpa. It’s fairly cheap to get into the park. It’s cheaper if you’re a Honduran citizen (25 lempiras). However, it’s still pretty cheap otherwise (50 lempiras). There is a park, a large statue of Christ, lookout...More

We came up to this park to get a great view of the whole city and we sure did! We loved watching the planes take off and land throughout the early afternoon.

Lovely park. Great views of the city. The formal gardens are very nice and there is conservation happening as well with replanting and of course lots of birds to see.

Yes, there are, and also other fields and areas are even better for picnics. On weekends you will try to arrive early cause they might get taken. Happy exploring!
