A typical Central American central park
Dec 2018 • Couples
It is a typical central American central park with lots of action and an old Cathedral right there as well. Many side walk vendors and a small mall with cheap stuff with many knock offs.

Unsafe
Dec 2018 • Friends
This is not a safe zone to visit in San Pedro Sula, especially if you are white and female. There are a lot of homeless people in the park and I felt very wary and on edge walking through it. It is very run down and dirty and other than the 'San Pedro Sula' letters there is nothing worth seeing. Definitely not a place to be at night.

No Need to Visit
Sep 2018 • Family
If you are a gringo, just stay away from here. Unless you are trying to buy drugs, a prostitute, or generally looking for trouble, just stay away from this place, and especially at night! OK - you speak Spanish and you are looking for an adventure... then look somewhere else. Seriously, cross this off your list, or look at it out the window as a taxi takes you past the park. Move along... nothing to see here.

Nice place to observe local activities
Aug 2018 • Solo
It is a small block of city park or should I say "sqaure" and very vibrant day time with the Cathedral on one end and the Municipal Building on the other. The socal "water fall" in the middle but no water. One side of the park is a pedestrian market and the other side are tall buildings, Other than that, there is nothing specific about the place. There are many homeless people in the park. I felt OK to walk around during the day (more police with M16 than I saw in many places) but again I was strongly recommend not to get there after sunset because I am a tourist and could be targeted for roberry. I respect the recfommendation and still got a nice walk of about 7 block sqaure during my afternoon visit to the city. From the appearance (my observation), I do not see it different fromn any other Latin American cities.

A colonial place
May 2018 • Business
The park can be transported you back in time. A really nice place to enjoy. Now the best time is between 10am to 2pm. After those hrs, I would not recommend at all.

Nice little park to safely walk around with the family. Lots of little shops and street vendors, very cool location in the center of San Pedro Sula

good one time visit
Jul 2017 • Solo
It is good for a one time visit. It is near some other attractions in San Pedro. We had no problems, however I didn't really feel secure in the center of the city.

Quick look
Sep 2016 • Couples
We stopped to take a quick look at the park while walking from our lunch stop. The grounds were in better condition than I expected. There were many people there and several undesirable characters who were apparently looking to attempt a pickpocket scam or worse. Stay guarded and move along and you will do fine.

Crafts
Jun 2016 • Solo
If you are looking for Honduras Crafts you should visit the Parque Central (Central Park), however, you must be very careful of not taking valuable things with you, since it may be dangerous because of you may be very attractive to thieves.
