This was part of our basic tour I have her wish we could somehow see it closer either with binoculars, or some kind of suspension system that would allow you to walk up there and look at it closer

Be prepared to walk and see as much or as little as your physical condition can handle. Our guide Cesar was super and spoke English much more than we could speak spanish. Was well versed on history and culture. The walk through the ruins is extensive and can be very stenious. Look ahead and do not climb if your shaky. Steps are uneven and spaced wide apart. You may climb to the top of the ruins but becareful railing are few. The Stairway is under cover and is great to view. This is one of the easiest to walk to and back. No bathrooms in park. Quite a distance back if that is needed and their is no other services in park, carry water.

The hieroglyphic stairway is a must. One of the most incredible things I've ever seen in person before. You can look at pictures but nothing compares to seeing it in person.
