Like many of the cigar shops in Roatan, Cigars at Frank's Cigar Bar is a spot where cigar aficionados can smoke and talk “stogie” with their friends in a comfortable atmosphere!!! Several cigar-smoking buddies rave about the selection in this small shop.!!!It has a full supply of premium cigars from Cuba, Honduras, and Nicaragua. And you can laze outside and watch the world go by on the deck. We carry a wide variety of Rocky Patel cigars such as the classic Decade, The Edge, The Royale, Fifty-Fives, and much more! One of our top selling Oscar Valladares cigars is the Leaf. At first glance, you would say that Leaf is the ugliest stick on the planet, however, once you remove the shoddy piece of tobacco leaf that’s used instead of cellophane, you will discover a perfectly rolled Honduran cigar!Or pony up to the bar and enjoy a cigar and cocktail while watching your favorite sports team in HD. Franks is one of the friendliest places on the island !! The homemade onion rings are the best ! This place also has the hottest bartenders on the island including Jose!!!

Great spot, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only small disappointment was that the selection was a bit limited due to it being the tourism off season.

ROCKY PATEL CIGARS AT FRANK'S CIGAR BAR!

During my travels I usually search for unique cigar bars to enjoy. I found Frank's Cigar Bar in Roatan, Honduras, and to my surprise they had a full selection of hand-rolled, long-filler Rocky Patel cigars from Honduras and Nicaragua. This place is a must see and stay to enjoy fine spirits and great cigars. Relax on the front porch and enjoy conversation with new friends and a exquisite view of the sea! The owner is a warm and friendly person and will introduce you to his friends!

Awesome place to spend the afternoon!

Spent the afternoon at Franks enjoying some ice cold beer and parade of humanity. Great service from David. Went to dinner and returned for drinks and cigars out by the water. We stop at Franks every time we are on Roatan and are never disappointed. This was our fourth year in a row and The visit to Franks was fantastic.

Genuine ....... cigars, staff & experience

We have been to West End before and knew of Franks so headed there the first night of our holiday to partake of a cigar or 2 and bottle or 3 of cold beer,
David, Blake and Ada are amazing people and made our experience of Franks a genuine one, they are outstanding staff with lots of local knowledge, a smile and chat to accompany our beer and cigars was just what we needed and found in Franks.
There is a regular crowd of ex-pats and locals who gather here at certain times of the day or night and they all included us in their groups, we were never made to feel like outsiders which is a true talent in any holiday location.
All the guys working here have excellent cigar knowledge, tell them what you like or would like and they are able to suggest something from stock to suit you.
The bar is well stocked and we have to admit not moving from Franks some nights as it was as comfortable as being in our local at home. Warm nights, people watching from the porch area, cold beer (or enough ice to soak your vodka) and cigars. what more of a genuine experience do you want for kicking back and chilling.

Stopped here during a recent trip to Roatan. First night I bought a Cohiba. Price was reasonable but the smoke was bad. Very loose draw and hard to smoke. Made me wonder if it was a real Cohiba. Came back again and bought a Rocky Patel. Good cigar but a little over priced compared to what I can get in the States. Did not have a drink but the bar is well stocked. Their cigar inventory is limited which factors into my review as well.

I was on an excursion and only had a few minutes to pop into Frank's. I'm a very occasional cigar smoker -- rare, in fact -- and Alexis was able to recommend a genuine Honduran mild cigar to me. I enjoyed the cigar back on board the cruise ship in their cigar lounge while watching college football, and it was wonderful!! And the cigar lasted over an hour. Thanks, Alexis, I hope to be back in the future!

It's about a 30 minute drive from the cruise terminal by taxi give or take depending on traffic.
