This is a unique experience. We were allowed to be very close to the dolphins following the instructions of the trainer who explained many things about the dolphins. We could watch, touch and at the same time learn about these amazing creatures. Pictures holding or having a kiss from the dolphins were not allowed with our own camera but only by their own in-house photographer; at the end we could buy these pictures from the souvenir shop.…

I have done dolphin swims in other parts of the Caribbean, as has my husband. While this experience was a few years ago, at Anthony's Key Resort, we were the only people who, after having truly enjoyed the dolphin encounter, were comfortable with the expense of actually swimming with dolphins. Snorkels and fins and dolphins! It was completely amazing! The dolphins are not caged, but came, with some coaxing from the people with whom they are comfortable, and then really interacted with us. All I ask is that the dolphins are not exploited, but choose, themselves, to interact with those of us who are land based.…

We booked this tour off the ship as we had tour credit.Actu\ally, it is a good tour and the chldren loved it. I was disappointed the kids did not get to be towed buyn the dolphins as at other dolphin swims.Pictures were good but pricey, as usual. If you are going to Cozumel or Grand Cayman, I would hold out for one of those places to do dolphins.…

This was a highlight of our trip! You get in the waist deep water with the group and the trainer will introduce to the dolphins. We played with Dora! Lots of interaction, info and fun. Then you snorkel in a very large enclosed area and they all come around. Very friendly, bumping you as they glide by. The trainer was nice, informative and easy going. Absolutely a great day!!…

We did the Dolphin Encounter as an NCL shore excursion. They have 18 dolphins in a very large natural enclosure (actually in the ocean, rather than a big cement pool). With the "Encounter", your group wades out to about waist level and spends about 30 minutes with at least one dolphin as a marine biologist tells you all about them. You get several opportunities to touch the dolphin, and see all of their tricks and behaviors. You have an opportunity to take your own photos, and they take very professional photos of you cradling the dolphin, and getting a kiss from the dolphin. (These photos are an up charge). We were very impressed with the way in which the dolphins are treated, and with their large habitat. There is also a swim and snorkel option which we did not do, but the folks with us who did, loved it. Bring a swimsuit, towel and sunscreen.…
