I definitely suggest visiting this unique shop while on Roatan! Nestled in West End, you can easily find it on the street within walking distance of anywhere on the main road. In contrast to most other shops in West End, all of the items are made on the island by local artists who recycle trash and found items into lovely works of art to help support their families. There are so many interesting items that you are certain to find souvenirs to take home…. jewelry, magnets, signs, metal art, bags, wood and stone carved items, and so much more! You can easily spend an hour or more looking around! The prices (in USD) are very reasonable and many items were on sale (B2G1F, clearance, etc.). The friendly saleslady shared stories of how some of my items were made and it is neat to know their history. She wore a mask the entire time. The store accepts cash (USD or Lempira) and credit cards. I hope you enjoy the photos of the treasures I purchased. Be sure to read the reviews of my other Roatan adventures and see pics of my island pup! *Thank you for reading my review! Please click the “thumbs-up” below. :)…

A wonderful way that this island is respecting it's environment as well as providing an income for it's people! All of the artwork is made from recycled metals etc. retrieved from the islands dump! Talk about end user recycling! Prices were excellent and the artwork ranges from kitschy to gorgeous and everywhere in between!…

I always like to buy a pair of inexpensive earrings when i travel. They're easy to transport, will remind of the place I've been, and will actually be used (rather than put in a drawer or on a shelf). This place checked all the boxes. I ended up with 3 (!) pairs of earrings from here, made in Roatan (not in China!) from Hondaran items (eg, coins). And for a good cause. Win-win. PS - There's many other items besides earrings, too.…
