I've been working on the tourist industry since I was 9 so I can say, have lot of this experience in the field, and I really enjoy talking about the island history, our rich cultural diversity and Roatan island development.
I'm Driver Tour Guide, was working at Gumbalimba Park from 2008 till 2016, before that, other jobs, I've been involve in translations, customer service at a computer store (Paradise Computers) 2004 - 2006, (maintenance, fix and repair), land care, diving, snorkeling tour, zip-line tour guide and animal sanctuary tour guide for 7 years.
While we're exploring the island, I will suggest other optional activities you can do on the way.

Elias was our tour guide for our cruise stop in Roatan. We booked through Facebook and messaged through Whatsapp. Elias was in constant communication with us during the morning of our arrival, as we encountered a delay in docking due to a brief thunderstorm which passed through. We visited Manawakie Park, the Chocolate Factory & Rum Company, then enjoyed a delicious lunch at Ginger's. You will not find a more experienced or knowledgeable guide than Elias! Excellent tour for adults, kids, couples, especially if you are going on a cruise... Expert tour guide from who you will learn a lot about Roatán and it's culture. The places we visited were very nice, beaches were incredible the sea was superb, I heard from a friend that the coral reef was amazing, and it is in the top ten list of the best coral reefs in the world. People is very friendly, chocolate rum was delicious, we had a great time with Elias and his team, very professional!!! Due to storms, there was a lot of sea weed but the location, bar and beach were great. Would recommend going here in the spring after the storm season.
