Built many years ago, it wants to resemble an Eiffel tower in Paris but on a smaller scale, traffice passes underneath. You can NOT go up in the tower, no elevators, etc. it is just a structure.

We walked a long way to see this tower, a USA made structure just off the Reforma. It is no Eiffel tower. It is on a main road and not attractive

I enjoy design and art work so this was must see for me. The true beauty of this site is dependant on the light. Unfortunately the weather in Guatemalacan be clear one minute and rainy the next so I cannot recommend the perfect time. If you love taking photos I will suggest visiting the tower at different times over a few days to get the best pictures. I have seen breathtaking images of the tower as the sunsets however I have not been able to recreate it. Please be vigilant in this area as it can be a risky area for muggings best would be to make your uber driver wait for you if you are not with locals.

On the way to our hotel we got the chance to see this beautiful tower. The light turned red, so I was able to take a nice picture of this Torre. Not sure if there's tours for this but it's right in the middle of street and people are just minding their own business / driving/ walking/ selling stuff etc.
