These are well ordered gardens offering a respite from the hustle and bustle of the city! With a knowledgeable guide we enjoyed learning all about the different plants and trees from all over the world. We had not allowed enough time though - two hours would have been nice! Some of the plant labels were missing, but the ones that... More

It read "open" on their page and the hotel recommended it. We decided to walk there as it was pretty close to our hotel. But when we got there it was closed and frankly it seemed abandoned. We looked for a guard or someone we could ask but not a person in sight. Ended up not getting to know it.... More

We were on a bike tour around the city and decided to detour into the Botanical garden when the rains started. Turned out to be a great move. Our guide was a volunteer who was incredibly knowledgable about the various plants, trees and orchids. Amazing variety of rare, indigenous and interesting plants. Definitely an oasis worth visiting

I had read reviews about the Jardin (that it was hard to find, it focused too much on trees) but I wanted to find out for myself and I'm SO glad I did. First, my taxi driver had no problem finding the location. I did have a little trouble finding the entrance, not marked well and the gate was closed... More

Small, but lovely garden with samples of many (if not all) local flora. Seems to focus mostly on trees. Went here for an hour before leaving for the airport and so happy we did! The taxi driver took us here, waited for us then drove us to the airport in plenty of time to make our flight.
