Malbi is truly an extremely knowledgable and friendly guide. This tour was very interesting and allowed us to visit the true crafts of making food, drink, and artisanal goods. It also provided us with the intimate opportunity to see and learn about the people of Guatemala just outside of Antigua. The tour was nicely paced, educational and delicious ! We loved making tortillas and having a very special lunch. Thank you Malbi!

This is the second year that I have used Erick & Malbi. And like the first time, every detail was taken care of and each of the activities/ tours was great! Erick & Malbi are a full-service travel (tourist) agency that strives to give you an incredible experience. This year, I used Erick & Malbi's services for 4 excursions for my small group of three people, and Malbi was our guide for all of them. The first was a city tour of Antigua. The second was a coffee tour just outside of Antigua. The third was Pacaya Volcano tour. The fourth was an all-day excursion of Lake Atitlan where we traveled to different villages by boat. In addition, I allowed Erick to arrange for the transportation logistics - pick up from airport, transfer to Antigua, etc. Malbi was incredible and knowledgable. She conveyed the history and information for each of the tours in an extremely informative and captivating manner. She was very friendly and nice and interacted with our group well. The others that I was traveling with, were so impressed with Malbi after the first tour. They could not believe she could remember so much detail and present it so interestingly. Malbi provided us an individualized tour for each of our tours. She adjusted the specifics and content for each tour to meet our interests and desires. My tour that I took with Erick last year was an all-day tour of Iximché Ruins and Chichicastenango (market. city, etc). Obviously, the tour was incredible because I chose to use Erick (and Malbi's) services again for our tours this year. I am already thinking about what I would like to do next year. One thing is certain is that Erick and Malbi will be involved in planning for next year and will be our tour guides!

I traveled with a group of 16 girls and we stayed and studied Spanish in Antigua. Erick was an amazing tour guide. He really made an effort to make everyone feel welcome and we bonded with him over the week and a half we spent with him. He went above and beyond and even endured our bus ride karaoke. He was always down for a selfie and always packed his positive attitude. A tour guide can really make or break a trip and we are very grateful to have had Erick!

Visiting Antigua could not have had a better start than with a tour guided by Erick. He was prompt and asked me what I wanted to see that day, and went above and beyond to fulfill the day with everything that I wanted to experience. He is so friendly, patient and knowledgeable. I felt at home in his presence. We went around Antigua to see ruins and churches, he even brought me to a local cooperative market to purchase authentic textiles after I asked where the best place to go for them was. He not only showed us a wonderful day, but gave us valuable information for further activities we had planned. Thank you so much, Erick. You are a gem of a person.

Had a fantastic tour with Erick in the villages surrounding Antigua. This tou is highly recommended. The tour is run by a local and supports local Mayan people and businesses. We visited a chocolate factory and were given hot chocolate to try. Great for the dairy intolerant and so delicious I bought two packets. We also visited the qumquat wine maker, also delicious but glass bottles are hard to transport. A jade factory and the only macadamia nut farm in Guatemala. The jade factory donates part of their profits to the local school in the form of equipment supplies. The macadamia nut farm has a great business model selling 3-4 seedlings to local Mayans and teaching them how to grow and sell the crop for additional income. Erick's and his wife Melbe (sorry about the spelling) then invited us into their home for lunch. Melbe showed us how to make tortillas before providing us with a delicious dish of pepian.
