A group of my girlfriends hiked down to the waterfall and lagoon the day before my wedding. I am not saying it was easy but the view at the bottom of those stairs is astounding. If you can try and continue on the the lagoon...More

I went with two of my sons, children. We had a great time in the Park. Recommend to take a guide at the entrance, much better. He helped us find some beautiful animals. Otherwise wouldn't see them for sure. Great time walking thru the mud...More

It was a moderate difficulty hike but lots of kids were doing it. The stairs to and fro from the waterfall are enough to take your breath away 😜 The view of the waterfall is spectacular . The blue water is a site for the...More

Rio Celeste is the draw and it doesn't take much distance on the trail to get there from the main lodge. Getting here may be just as challenging as the trails within Tenorio however. There doesn't seem to be a meaningful main stretch of asphalt...More

We just entered the national park, when the weather changed from sunshine to rain and didn't change back for the next to and a half hours. So, we became totally wet and the trail was very muddy. So, don't forget a rain jacket and shoes...More

The walk through the jungle down to the waterfall and river was so amazing, but the hike back up almost killed me = not convinced it was really worth it. Saw a family of coatis on the way back. Glad I wore hiking boots instead...More

Hiking here is fantastic. This is one of my favorite places I've visited in Costa Rica. When you catch the hike on a day it hasn't rained to much the night before, and with a little sun, the waterfall and river/lagoon are otherworldly, it's so...More

Went on a hike there. Awesome trails - can be very physically challenging. The waterfall was beautiful. Stairs and uphill/downhill can be brutal for people with knee problems, but sooooooo worth the hike.
