Pumpkin Caye is a very beautiful and relaxing private island. We enjoyed a fantastic lunch prepared by our guide, Mark. The beach and views are absolutely beautiful.

Quiet, less crowded little island, beautiful and bucolic, perfect for a lunch stop. The view from the outhouse is the best I have ever seen!

Mark from Cayequest is a great tour guide -very knowledgable and passionate about marine conservation. As an added bonus you get to have lunch on his families private island and feel like a real castaway. For a no crowd individual snorkelling day Mark from Cayequest is the man to go with. Highly recommended

This small caye is a privately owned. You must have a guide that has access and there are several. We went with Mark with Cayequestadventures. We had a wonderful lunch prepared by Mark from his catch of the day from the previous snorkel site, lounged on the beach, there is shallow areas for the kids and great snorkeling around the... More

We too stopped her for a lunch break on a Snorkel trip. The weather was a bit rainy and cloudy the day we went. So getting to the island was a bit of an adventure itself. it's a very small secluded island. Small walk path on the island outlined with conch shells..... a gazillion conch shells!! The island has no... More

This great little private island was a stopover place for our snorkeling adventure. There were a couple structures, one which housed the kitchen area and an outhouse (working toilet!). There is also a little sandy beach area. Very pretty, it was a great place for lunch and rest.

We went with Mark Leslie cayetours. The only people there were our group of 6 and the caretakers. The water was spectacularly clear, large rays came right up to the shore!,,

My family took the snorkeling trip on one of our first days in Placencia. The overall experience was wonderful as the guides were enthusiastic and knowledgeable. The snorkeling was fantastic, with a full hour in the morning and another half hour or so in the afternoon, each with a little different aspect of the reef. Lunch was great, and the... More

Americans call this pumpkin caye but it's actually pumpion. We went snorkeling here and saw a ton of fish. It was a really nice spot with lots of fish and coral.
