Went and stayed for 4 days. Stayed in a jungle hut. Rooms were clean and spacious. Staff there were very friendly and helpful. Good food and lots of it. We went cave tubing, rappelling, zip lining and cave tubing. The guides were very knowledgeable and I felt safe with every adventure. Deshanne helped to plan our trip and she was... More

This review is a long time coming...Cave's Branch proved to be a perfect choice for our adventure-loving family. Lovely accommodations, great food, but mostly fantastic adventures made for a wonderful vacation. Highlights for us were the cave tubing, waterfall-cave trek, and visiting Tikal. Excellent guides all around. Highly recommended for outdoorsy folk who like to get outside!

We stayed at Table Rock (fabulous), but went to Cave's Branch to drop our sons off for the Black Hole Drop tour. They loved the tour and their guides. And someone at Cave's Branch was kind enough to walk me through some of their extensive gardens and green houses. They are doing a lot of collecting of local plants on... More

We did four tours as we were staying at the resort. Waterfall caving was by far our favorite, but we loved the adventure cave tubing, Mayan ruins, and black hole drop. The guides were all very knowledgable about Mayan history and culture, and we learned something on every tour. All the "adrenaline" tours are very safe and unbelievably fun. Highly... More

We took two adventure tours with Caves Branch (in addition to staying at the Caves Branch Resort). On the first day we did the River Cave Expedition - a perfect blend for our family with some tubing, walking, lots of exploring and history. If that's not for you, there are plenty of other choices with something for everyone. On the... More

Fantastic day out, tubing through awesome caves with a stop for lunch alongside the river and some swimming with the fish. Really great guides, well worth the slightly higher cost to do this tubing - it is an all day tour rather than the hour and a half with others we have done in the past. No rushing and lots... More

We participated in a number of adventure excursions while on our honeymoon, and all were organized and directed by Caves Branch. We were very pleased and impressed with the people who ran these tours, and thoroughly enjoyed everything that we did (although my husband says he will never go rappelling again, by no fault of anyone other than him being... Everything was perfect. Waterfall excursion was the our favorite. It was a two mile hike/climb into the caves and before and after a 15-20 min hike through the jungle (depending on the speed of your group). Hector, Darrel, Darwin were our guides for that excursion and were amazing! So friendly and witty! Food was very tasty! Something different every night!... More

My first visit here was in 1992. It was a small jungle lodge with a nice river front and many caves nearby. Today it is just wonderful. After expanding through the years, it's now a luxury accommodation in the bush. The large dining hall has great buffet style food. And the "Treehouse" rooms are top knotch. You can adventure like... Took my family of 4 on the 7-mile cave tubing tour. We had a great time. I recommend it highly. Wear long sleeves when you go, the tube rubs your arms.
