I recently visited Belize with a huge group of friends that are part of an organization called Gold Star Teen Adventures. We went out into the jungle for three days to learn about jungle survival and the truly fascinating history of the Mayan people! Marcos, Frances, Reuben, Mario, Barnebei, and Justo welcomed our group with open arms! I learned so... More

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. Our guides we had Marcos, Frances, Reuben, Mario, Justo, and Barnebei were some of the most knowledgeable and fantastic people I've ever met. They knew everything about Belize ranging from Mayan history to plants to cave formations. We spent three days out in the jungle and they showed us how to build our own shelter, what plants we... Lovvvved my experience with this crew. I did the 3 day jungle experience with a group called Gold Star Teen Adventures. As in the name, we had a lot of teens Marcos and his crew handled our crazy crew with lots of patience and always made sure we were having fun! They took the time to make sure we understood... More

I traveled to Belize with a group of 30+ people, and we worked with Maya Guide Adventures while there. I truly cannot say enough good things about this business! We did a three days, two nights jungle survival training and they were so helpful and kind to us! They remembered each and every one of our names, and they actually... More

I knew I wanted to do some river tubing just from browsing Belize forums, but once I found Maya Guide Adventures and talked to them about their options, we decided on cave kayaking. Definitely the right choice! Francis was our guide and he was fantastic. And patient! We'd only done lake kayaking, so river kayaking was a whole different ball... More

My wife and I have done cave kayaking twice. Once was a few years ago, and a few weeks ago, we HAD to do it again. This is a new cave system, and it was just as amazing. We were picked up by Francis in Placencia, and then we made the drive to Belmopan, where we switched vehicles to the... More

Stayed in San Ignacio for 3 nights and San Pedro for 4 nights, this Cave Kayaking trip was one of the highlights of our week in Belize. Do it. Somehow my wife and I ended up being the only people on this tour so our guide Ruben gave us a private tour of a beautiful creek in Belize with 3... More

Marco guided me through caves down a river through the Belizean jungle. He has great knowledge about the ecosystems, great enthusiasm in sharing, and a lot of experience in leading tours. For the most part the river is less than 3 feet deep, and it moves along at a nice easy pace. You will get wet, but it is refreshing.... More
