By far the best tour in Belize. Way more strenous than I expected. But easily do able. I felt like Indiana Jones!

We went with River Rat expeditions because of their very attentive guides taking only a small group. Easily gave us the most interesting tour in Belize. The River Rat crew was able to point out the easiest and safest path through the caves to ensure...More

Fun experience! The price is pretty steep, but the only way allowed to visit is with a guided tour. The best way to book is probably from the local tour companies rather than online, which is more expensive. The tour involved lots of swimming and...More

A fantastic adventure day. If you like hiking ect this is great. Then you get to see some amazing Mayan ruins and a glimpse of how they lived. A bit technically challenging in some spots but most should be able to do it. Highly recommended.

This was the highlight of our time on the mainland of Belize. It’s a full day excursion. From the parking lot, it’s about a 45 minute hike through the rainforest before you get to the entrance of the cave. Make sure you have water shoes...More

This tour was remarkable!! Tip one: do this as a custom tour for just your group. My resort, Ka 'Ana arranged this for me and it was just me, my husband, and our guide Patrick. For this tour the smaller the group the better because...More

If you can lift things above your head and crawl on your hands and feet, you should be okay. The 20-foot climb is the most difficult part of the journey. I can only think of one other difficult part and that really only took... More

I don't know about water levels. But if they say it's ok, then do it. Best tour of my life! Swimming in a dark cave.... you can't beat it.
