Great day! Long trip out but nice to see the Belizean country side. Our host stopped along the way for fresh snacks. Guides were extremely knowledgable and pleasant. The best part - Mayan ruins to yourself and a home cooked lunch!

we did cave tubing and the zoo combo and it was awesome!!!! major Tom and minor Tom are the coolest, nicest, most knowledgable people ever and were with us most of the time. the lunch is amazing and we had a total blast!!

I love Tikal as it's feels real. Chicken Itza is just a tourist trap and doesn't feel real, I have also see Tulum and Teo (massive one outside of Mexico City which is also amazing)

The water taxi will cost you about 25 US round trip so the cost is minimal. However, It is not exactly a short ride. They say its 45 minutes but that must be with empty boats. Plan on an hour ride. I think you would be... More
