My husband and I hired a private boat for $150. He took us to both the reserve and Shark Ray Alley. Earlier in the week, we snorkle in southern Belize. This reserve had many more fish. I saw people of all ages snorkeling. It's a great experience and close to San Pedro. It only took us about two and a... More

Bunch of people told me you had to check out Hol Chan Marine Reserve and Shark Alley. We dove the Hol Chan and snorkeled the shark alley. The marine reserve was a decent dive, but not any better than any of the reef diving we did other days. Shark Alley was fun for about five minutes. Do i recommend this,... More

Probably the best snorkel excursion of my life! We saw sharks, rays, Spotted Eagle Ray, Green Moray Eel, Lion Fish and so much more. A must if you are in this part of the world!

We took the 1/2 day snorkeling trip here. We made 2 stops, one to snorkel with the fish and a second stop which seems to specialize in sharks. Both stops were exceptional. The boat was good and the staff very helpful.

We snorkeled here with 3 other couples under the care of the wonderful Tuff Enuff guides. We saw sea turtles, dolphins, stingrays, and all sorts of colorful fish and coral. Excellent!

Our visit this time included huge permit, some large nurse sharks, a well camouflaged peacock flounder, and a flying gurnard: a strange critter walking along the bottom using modified fins with gorgeous, huge blue 'wings' - something I'd never seen or even heard of before. Highly recommended!

We toured Hol Chan with Tiff E Nuff tours - twice because once just wasn't enough. The amount of marine life was outstanding. Our guides took time to identify much of what we saw.

The reserve was absolutely amazing ! I felt like I was in the movie finding nemo. Absolutely breathtaking views of the barrier. There's more than 100 varieties of exotic fish , many rays , sharks etc ! so worth it. I would highly recommend going with Chuck and Robbie's.
