This is a large, white sandy beach. The water is beautiful. Depending on when you are there, seaweed can be in the area. A lot of people look for shells at low tide. It's a great place to watch the sunset.

We rented a house on the end of Anna Maria Island, a few blocks from Bean Point. Loved walking the beach in the mornings, saw dolphin and mullet jumping. Something new on the beach every morning. Sunsets are phenomenal!! Rod and Reel pier are within...More

We spent the day at the beach and it was gorgeous. The sand is a soft white and there aren’t very many people that’s the best part. A few negative things are. 1 is finding a parking spot which is along the streets. And follow...More

Took some great photos of the dunes. Lovely walk along the shoreline. No crowds only scatters of couples mainly walking. A few people fishing. A bit better for shelling here than at Manatee beach. A number of entrances to the beach, some are relatively hidden...More

This was our first visit to the area. We had grade school kids in tow and were looking to find shells. Here are a few observations: 1. Parking can be challenging, earlier in the day is better than later to find a spot. They enforce...More

This lovely beach at the tip of Anna Maria is perfect. It is quiet and serene, a top spot for a sunset walk.

Bean Point is a great place to walk and explore. We love to go in the late afternoon and find sand dollars at low tide. It's quieter than the other beaches on the island and accessible via designated access points along the road. Park within...More

Very wide and low-angle white sugary sand. Free access from many side streets. Spectacular clean blue green water - like you are in the Caribbean. Very clean beach sand. Gentle surf. Some of the most spectacular sunsets in the world. Usually a happening with plenty...More

Beautiful! Lovely walk all around the tip of Anna Marie Island. The beach is pristine, love to see the waves, and hear the ocean roar. The natural beach is guarded and maintained. It is a happy place.

Bean point did NOT disappoint! It was kind of a trek to get there and finding a place to park can be difficult but what a beautiful beach!

There are no life guards along this stretch of the beach. People do play in the water/sand, walking, and chasing waves, however, Holmes Beach (just as you come onto the island) has a beautiful swimming area with life... More
