Beautiful Beach with nice waves. Well worth the visit to get away from the crowds. Not really a shell location but super soft white sand.

This beautiful beach is a great place for taking a long walk on powdery sand, for soaking up the sun or for playing frisbee on the shore. It is NOT a great place to swim. Bean Point is where the Gulf of Mexico and Tampa...More

We walked around after dinner, about 9-10:30 pm. I hope to go back one day... the sand is soft and powdery. It was gorgeous at night. The sound of the waves coming in and the stars sprinkled overhead was perfection. On bean point looking over...More

Not a good swimming beach because the riptides from having both Gulf and Bay waters meeting at this point are stronger than other parts of AMI, but come for sunset. It is not crowded (because there's basically little or no parking on this end of...More

We had a hard time finding parking but were glad we did. The views are breathtaking. Be aware, the particular path we took (Gladiolus, I believe) to the beach had lots of prickly somethings in it and it was a tough walk in flip flops.

Bean point was so pretty. We walked the beach one morning with our family and it was very peaceful and secluded. We found some pretty shells here. Parking on a side street was easy and a short walk to Bean Point.

Fun beach to spend some time. Lots of sand and natural sand dunes, great views. There are several beach access walks if you drive to bean point. It is one of those things you want to experience on Anna Maria.

Awesome place to see. Beautiful sunsets, even saw dolphins. A little bit difficult to find at first... but once you figure it out. Pretty simple.

from Sandbar Restaurant where there is parking and facilities. A long beach walk is one of the glories of Anna Marie Island. This walk takes you past residential beachfronts on a beach that is unusually wide with beautiful Gulf sand and vegetation. Along the way...More
