Truly a place on Anna Maria Island that gives you a perspective of where you are. Very humbling. Spectacular views along a wide and natural beach. Limited parking on North Shore Drive, so you might consider a bike ride to the beach access points.

Nice wide beach on the north tip of Anna Maria Island. Very secluded. We rode bikes and parked and walked through one of the access paths. Such a beautiful spot. You can see the Sunshine Skyway bridge from here. Not a swimming spot as there are riptides.

We walked to Bean Point the first time we went. You walk through a narrow walkway to the most amazing beach you ever saw in your life - white sand, aqua water, and diving pelicans. It was sparsely populated when we went. This is probably because there is no place to park. The second time we went, we decided to... More

Although the beach is narrow at this point, it has some great views. There is a nice playground for kids. Pavilions are also on the property as well as public restrooms.

Nice beach not too crowded. Took beach chairs and had a nice time reading, relaxing and watching all the birds There was a nice breeze so never got real warm.

After lunch at the Rod & Reel, we strolled along the beach to enjoy the view from Bean Point. Would be a great place to take a chair & sit awhile to enjoy the sun & surf. Can watch big cargo ships out in the bay from here. Saw many fishermen off the beach. The area we walked was not... More

This place was gorgeous and relaxing. My husband & I took a day off while traveling in our tractor trailer. We dropped the trailer off the interstate by a McDonald's across from the America's Best Value Inn Bradenton/Sarasota (says no over night parking in the lot though), and bobtailed over to Anna Maria. We parked and walked to this beach.... More

If you make it out to Bean Point you will feel like you made it to the end of the world. When you see the stunning views and pristine beaches at the end of AMI you will be glad you took the time to get there
