Birds and other animals began using this habitat even before restoration was completed. We helped with restoration. Good for spring migrants and has had occasional rare bird like Western Spindalis.

We really enjoyed this walking trail, it offers several different habitats and a variety of views of the bay and surrounding area. I would not come to AMI with kids and miss this walk.

We've done a photo shoot here and it is beautiful! Parking is never a concern, either! Love it!

We walked the trails in under 45 minutes, which was plenty of time to see everything without spending too much time at any observation points. I'd bring a lunch and spend more time if I did it again.

This was a terrific non-beach experience. The trail is on either a graded path or a board walk and leads through mangroves and up small coastal ridges. We saw egrets, great blues and even a dolphin playing in the bay. Bring your binocs and a...More

Very nice half hour or so walking paths and elevated boardwalks through the southern bay area of the island. Also, a neat path up to what might be the highest point on the island from which you can see a large area. Easy walk on...More

Yes, I am aware it is Florida and I'm sure it would have been much more enjoyable on a cooler, less humid day. I have experienced those type of days in Florida in the fall or winter. Thanks for keeping me on my toes.

I am not sure, we didn't have a dog with us so I didn't notice the signs. That being said I didn't see any dogs there either.
