Nice views of the gulf with some "private spots". Very clean, good for families or couples. Lots of fiddler crabs

This is a beautiful spot to walk away from a busy weekend. Beautiful scenery and nice breeze when walking early in the morning.

We took a walk on this trail, and the walkways that went out into the mangroves had some interesting information about the plants and animals, and we saw lots of birds, fish, fiddler crabs and more.

We took the kids down to the Bay walk since it was highly recommended in a few reviews I read. we saw hundreds and hundreds of small crabs that scurry into their tiny holes when you get near. The kids loved it! we also were followed by several large bees, YIKES! It was a very humid day, but very neat... More

We trooped along the trail on a super hot late afternoon. It was interesting walking through, looking at the mangroves, and spotting a few egrets and herons. The trail winds and winds & there are several dead ends with glorious views of the bay. I would suggest a few inconspicuous signs noting the way back to the road -- we... More

My family enjoyed this little evening adventure. We knew we'd see the most animals morning or night. We were so hoping to see manatees, but no such luck. Still, we saw lots of neat creatures and some great views. It was nicely shaded as well. If you enjoy short hikes and wildlife, you should definitely go!

I would suggest going near sunset or sunup to hopefully actually see any wildlife or water creatures. We visited on a sunny hot mid afternoon and there wasn't any wildlife to be seen accept for a raccoon that seemed to be guarding the main trail entrance. It was far too tame for comfort, but didn't seem rabid. I had to... More

This is a nice little spot, although I thought it was a longer walk. There was some boardwalk under repair, and that may be why it seemed so short. We did see a lovely white ibis, which made it all worthwhile.

Went here early in the day and saw nothing but 1 rabbit. Winding trails, no bathrooms, disappointing.
