We live in the area and finally visited this park. There is an offsite parking area and a regular shuttle to drive you into the park for free. The parking area is well maintained and safe and I believe there is a camera for security....More

Parked in the parking area, hiked the roads on tops of the berms that impound the water. Viewed a lot of waterfowl and some alligators.

The park consist of a man-made nature trail that extends barely over a mile in length and offers little nature to be seen, but is complimentary in the fact that is does offer a child's play area and transportation to and from the parking lot.

Getting back to nature by visiting. We were able to enjoy the peace and quite of a true Florida outdoors. Saw lots of different birds and plants. Can't wait for cooler weather so we can visit again with the Grandkids.

It's a nice little park. We like to go when they have their farmer's market and when they have art shows.

Its a place not far from the city and yet while there you feel so lost in the woods with a country side feel. Its good as a get away to come together with nature. Relaxing place.
