Dance venue with dress code

Went here recently for Ladies night on a Wednesday early, so free entry. I was a little bemused by the dress code etiquette as in no 'baggy pants, bandanas & baseball caps', not... read more

Wednesdays is Ladies night. Great place to dance and kick up your heels...reminiscence of a Texas Roadhouse.

Call ahead or check their website to be sure it is country night, and enjoy plenty of room to dance without crowding. Friendly staff and owner. Loved it here, a great experience for true country dancing. A couple suggestions to the owner: Needs more comfortable chairs upgrade, and choose bands that are auditioned by true country dancers. The band was... More

Went here recently for Ladies night on a Wednesday early, so free entry. I was a little bemused by the dress code etiquette as in no 'baggy pants, bandanas & baseball caps', not that it was a problem for us! My niece was with us who was over 18 luckily otherwise she would not have been admitted, this is not... More

Saturday night, huge place, around 100 people. Need I say more? I met my wife dancing at a country music venue in Denver, I've no bias against a good country bar. The Stampede used to be an okay place, it used to be rockin' but it's absolutely horrendous now! It's hard to imagine how any place can be managed so... More

MMA event was held here with paid admissions and some reserved tables. Place a little run down but very spacious. Prices a little high on drinks. Bar foods offered are at reasonable prices. We had a waitress come to our reserved table and she was very nice, attentive and efficient (name Jessica?) We had an occasion to go to the... More

I went with my girlfriend. As we went in the door we were told by the bouncer "You know it's mexican night right? " I've been to plenty of diverse places. I've never been warned that I wasn't welcome before... I likely will not be back.

Went by the Stampede to see hao things were happening. This place is as I remembered it. Long on free drinks for ladies (5 drink tickets per lady - with a $10 cover - way to much liquior for this gal) and great selection of country music. Place seemed a little low key but me and my partner were there... More

I originally found this place a few years ago. Back in the 90s I did some country dancing and was looking for a place to go. When I started coming here ago it was pretty fun, although more clique-y than I would expect. However, over time, on Saturday nights it's gone from fun to not even worth going. They don't... More

OK, if you're a country music and country dance fan, you already know about this place. If not, here's my advice: - go on a Friday for the excellent beginner lesson at 6:30. Don't worry about what they're teaching, just give it a shot. Try Thursdays for a west coast swing lesson or Weds if you're into line dancing. There... More

The Stampede (full name Stampede Mesquite Grill & Dance Emporium) is my favorite Colorado nightclub among those offering the four types of music I dance to. It’s also probably the top dance club in a 500 or 600-mile radius. It clearly outshines the two other great Colorado country-nightclubs, the Sundance in Fort Collins and Cowboys in Colorado Springs. Unlike the... More
