Long waits in the summer if you plan on bringing a boat, especially if you come on the weekends. Very dirty water. Fun to fish in but I don't recommend eating fish from here.

This little lake in the middle of town is so peaceful and quiet. It is a great place to go and just sit and people watch or just to enjoy nature ! It's a definite must go see !!!

Again a great place to chill, take in nature, great walking trails in wooded areas. Daily viewings of either deer, coyote, or birds of prey. Great place to unwind from daily hustle of our busy lives.

This park has boating, picnicking, hiking trails, biking trails, dog walks, skeet shooting, and more. In the winter it’s great for cross country skiing and snow shoeing. If your into wildlife you can see various deer, coyotes, multiple bird species and more. The price for...More

It’s a ginormous off leash dog park! Season pass and day pass is pricey but you will really enjoy coming here with your furry friend. You can even get some cardio time while he’s running around. There’s a creek that you all can walk through...More

This is a beautiful low key day trip stop. There were many places for a picnic including picnic tables with barbecues. We saw deer and many birds during our afternoon stop there. The bathrooms were closed but there were several port-a-potties around. There is a...More

What a fun time on this little gem of a lake fishing for trout and walleye. Kinda of in the middle of the city but once on the lake you kinda forget that with great views of the Rocky Mountains as your back drop.

We visit several times a year and sometimes forget how much traffic it gets on the weekends. Biking is extremely popular there and boating is out of control. Huge boats going in circles in a bathtub. But there are hiking trails and a dog walking...More

As said in the previous answer, no direct views of the lake from the RV sites. The lake is within walking distance and the park itself has many other amenities.
