I live riding my bike out here. Miles of well paved paths and roads for bikes. Great views of the reservoir and the front range everywhere. They have a goofy tiki bar here in summer which is kind of nice although don't think adrift or trader Vic's. You can also rent canoes if you want to have some fun on... More

My family has been going to Cherry Creek State park for years, primarily for camping. Love their campsites and amenities. Even though you're in the middle of the city you feel very removed - very peaceful. Great fishing, amazing bike and walking paths and even great entertainment! This summer they opened the new boat house and they do live entertainment... More

I went with my adult daughters & three grandchildren. There is a fee to drive into the park but we parked and rode bikes into park at no fee. Lots of flat paved trails to explore. The reservoir is close enough to get to easily and the swim beach is free. So swimsuits under clothes and we had a great... More

Surrounded by city but feels like you are in the country. Boating, fishing, hiking and camping all available with trees and gorgeous views. Well worth a visit.

Perfect for that early morning ski before work. Come early for the flat water. Also recontaminate your boat for free.

Great local resource for biking as you can ride in for free or park at CC HS. The roads could use some repaving but overall not bad. The dog park is a walk from the parking lot and dogs need to stay on the leash until you get into the fenced area. WARNING, there is a deep pool of muddy... More

Although it is a clear sunny winter day, the park is a wonderful place for families with or without pets! Great trails for walking, biking, rollerblading, running, or walking the family dog! Camping spots available, picnic spots to enjoy a leisurely lunch, and don't forget about boating and fishing in the summer months! Must visit!!

The Cherry Creek State Park is a great gem in the middle of Denver. It's huge. I've only visited portions of it but I love it. We live right behind a portion of the trail and it's a great place to hike, there's even cool bridges & manmade rock formations over the water. I often take my dog to the... More
