Every season is a must to experience, but from October to November is an absolute, must visit of a life time, if you can get a tiny space between all the photographers!

When in Aspen you must go to Maroon Bells. We were there in October when the foliage was changing colors. Absolutely spectacular. The hiking was great. Can't way enough. We will return.

Do not miss coming here!!!! Beautiful mountains and snow. Can't miss. The drive from aspen is about 20 minutes then you will park and walk. Well worth it! Just bring water and snacks as there are no places nearby to buy things

Wow, what a view of the Maroon Bells' peaks in Colorado. Bill, our hotel guide from Aspen Meadows recommended an absolute must while in Aspen. We end up hiking to both Maroon Lake and Crater lake while here. We would also recommend this place highly.

We saw lots of bikers in October. As long as there’s no snow, you could still bike there. That is, as long as you’re a strong biker. Otherwise, use your car.
