These mountains are on most calendars! If you time it right, you will get great photos of the mountains with their mirror reflection in the lake in front of it. Actually, you can't get a bad photo here, no matter what time. We even captured...More

Our visit to Maroon Bells was the highlight of our recent trip to Aspen Colorado. My wife was very keen on seeing the sunrise and I admit that I had to be talked into it — but I’m glad that we got up and went...More

We visited right after a snowfall and the mountains were just beautiful. Sits right on a sparkling lake and is definitely worth the time to go see.

Drove up in mid-October, after the car ban was lifted (it's bus only from Aspen Highlands during the high season). The drive is very scenic and it's such a beautiful, awesome view. Pyramid Peak comes into view first, then later the Bells. You really can't...More

Worth the relatively short drive and walk to get an awesome view of these majestic peaks. Quite windy and a little ice already at parking lot. Easy 100 yd stroll to the lake.

Took a very beautiful drive to Maroon Bells. The views were wonderful and there were many walking paths available. You can sit on one of the benches and see sights in all directions. Shuttle service was very convenient.

There are no tours, and I am not sure the buses are running this late in the year now. The park might be closed for the season, but that seems really weird! If it's still open and no buses are running (they are just shuttle... More

We're here now (10/7). Color is still here but fading fast. Lots of aspens have lost all or part of their leaves but still gorgeous!
