Amazing! But boil your water

I didn't boil water, just used a Sawyer filter. Not sure if some of the hot spring water could have... read more

This hike has spectacular views from beginning to end! There were wildflowers and the aspens even started to change. I went on Saturday of Labor Day weekend. My friend and I were worried about the parking situation (because we heard it is a highly trafficked...More

I didn't boil water, just used a Sawyer filter. Not sure if some of the hot spring water could have gotten in our wine bottle because it was raining, or if it was from the streams. Either way, I picked up something awful.

I did this hike (on a whim) super pregnant in one day...and I shouldn't have. Prepare and stay the night! Honestly, the worst part was getting all the way up and then having to turn around and leave the hot springs after only soaking for...More

My fiancé proposed to me at the hot springs, so this place is super special to me. It is a gorgeous trail with so much scenery, and the trail it's self was not too difficult until you cross over the river. It starts to become...More

Fantastic but grueling two-day hike to Conundrum Hot Springs with my wife and a few other middle-aged couples. The hike proved difficult for our aging group as we took nine hours to reach the hot springs. The views along the way were incredible. After an...More

This gorgeous hike is popular from the Aspen side - not so much from the Crested Butte side because it is a longer hike over a 13,000 foot pass from CB. Not sure either canyon approach can claim more beauty than the other. Just incredible...More

Although we did not make it all the way to the springs, this is one of Aspen's most beautiful hiking trails. It takes about one hour to walk to the "Bridge" and about 45 minutes to walk back - this summer it was a little...More

We took the longer route to the springs from the Crested Butte side of the pass about 14 miles from Gothic to the Springs. This side can be difficult in spots with loose rock, steep climbs and a few snow crossings. The views on both...More

Conundrum Hot Springs is definitely at least a two day trip. It is a long hike from the Conundrum trail head through fairly easy terrain following the creek to the springs. If you do this during the winter or spring, be prepared to have snow...More

This is NOT a technically difficult hike, but it is a long way to the springs, so people bring tents, sleeping bags as well as food and drink, and sleep over night there, at the spring. Most hikers enter the spring without clothing, at least...More
