The gondola closes early October, until the skiing seasons restarts.. It's great to just ride to the top of the mountain, enjoy the scenery and enjoy a hot chocolate in the cafe.. Very peaceful and invigorating...

ticket prices are expensive, and the top is touristy, but the views on the way down are worth it. Nerve-racking if you are nervous and on your own - you'll be in a gondola by yourself!

I think if you look back at my original question ans.#5 says it closes the 1st of Oct. but check!

The regular Four Mountain lift ticket covers all lifts and gondolas. A "foot pass" for non skiers is available for a reduced price.
