A nice tribute

My husband worked at Windstar and John in the 80s, was so pleased about this Sanctuary, very moving and peaceful.

This is a wonderful open space, I recommend going with a hot cup of coffee and a good book since the view is stunning and is a quiet and peaceful place

Peaceful garden, you can stop and reflect upon John's songs inscribed on boulders. Just beautiful. Gentle pathway, not all inscriptions on boulders would be wheelchair accessible close up but can be seen. I've been in the summer and now in a cool Nov late afternoon. Serenity. Esp great after 2 full days of work!

I love this placed. It was so nice and clean. I was here during fall season but i bet anything it is way prettier during summer. Go during the summer.

Hard to find. It's in the park across from the Aspen Visitor Information Center. It's all out doors. Nice stroll through the gardens with a path winding around ponds and stones with quotes and John Denver songs engraved on them. I'm sure it's stunning in the spring and summer months. We went in late October so there wasn't much of... More

What an incredible tribute to John Denver! I was really touched by this peaceful and beautiful, natural sanctuary the City of Aspen attributed to such a wonderful man:)

Stream side sculpture garden, located on the MAGNIFICENT bike path that follows the Roaring Fork River for 42 miles. John's lyrics are carved into smooth boulders. I think John would approve.

Based on the reviews, this is a nice beautiful garden, so it was on the top of our list when visiting Aspen. We had a hard time to find it, even though we finally found the area, it took us a little time to figure out where exactly the John Denver Sanctuary is. I was a little disappointed how small... Absolutely beautiful and moving, it had been raining most of the day when we arrived the sun came out. I choose to believe it was John Denver's spirit.
