It is very pleasant to meander through the sanctuary and see the flowers, water falls, streams and ponds, read the words to some of his songs engraved on large stone tablets and just enjoy nature.

Rushing water, scenic trails and carved boulders make for a peaceful and relaxing visit. Take a good book and enjoy the peace. Easy walk for downtown, but note there is some up and down walking on gravel paths.

John Denver’s lyrics are etched on boulders throughout a grassy maze. Aspen breezes are warmed by the Colorado sun and seasonal flowers dot this tranquil paradise.

I would suggest contacting Willie Hoevers, who is also making plans for the 20th anniversary of John Denver's death. Willie is also on Facebook. My wife Diane tells me she knows you from Facebook. We live up in Wisconsin.
