Beautiful place to ride, but you must be mindful of walkers. I highly recommend having a bell on your bike so you can let walkers know you are coming around a bend.

The Avila Village Inn offered bikes for 2 hours for free and we decided to take the Bob Jones Trail. We did the whole trail and ended in Avila Beach for coffee before heading back to the Inn. Great fun!

This trail was very well maintained--a beautiful ride. And plenty to see along the way -- we saw a Blue Heron who seems to live there--since we saw him on several occasions. Mostly walkers and bicyclists although cars are permitted in certain spots.

An easy walk for anyone including disabilities. Much of it shaded. It follows a creek. Shared path with bikes, strollers, runners, dog walkers, even a car or two. Interpretive signage. I had lunch at the wood stone market.
