We stopped to see the old town Shop, do some walking to stretch our legs and just wander to admire the architecture. One of our favorite things to do in small towns! Our favorite shop was Avant Garden. It’s a town of “endurance” with mountain...More

Longest continually working post office and volunteer fire department west of the Mississippi. Quaint shops and restaurants. Only downside is parking!

Auburn was a quaint friendly town with touristy shops & fun antique stores. The City of Commerce center was extremely friendly & helpful, more so than the Visitor's Center. Short distance from other towns with a good history. The Power's Mansion Inn is the place...More

Not alot there but it was a nice way to spend a few hours. You can do some shopping and visit a few museums but best for your dining options. Worth the stop

Charming old mining town in the foothills with some good restaurants and shops. I have eaten at Tio Pepe's Restaurant Mexican many time and the food never disappoints. Eating outside on the porch on a warm summer evening is the BEST.

Last time I was there (about a year ago) most shops were quiet by 5:00 pm on Saturday. Restaurants are about all that is going after that.
