Walking distance from home, we always take visiting guests for a walk to see the beauty of the Monterey Bay. For all of the tax money collected in this expensive part of the world, this park is poorly maintained, despite being one of the most...More

We had to pay $10 to park, which was fine...but the beach was kind of yucky. The smell there was horrible and the little shop/info center was closed (during normal hours) The only cool thing was to see the Cement Ship, the USS Palo Alto...it...More

The beach is nice. Seems foggy in the mornings and evenings. The wind can carry the stinky bird smell of the sunken ship to wherever it is blowing. Very gross!

If you visit Santa Cruz, you may have noticed that the beaches in town aren’t good for walking. Drive a few miles south to Aptos and you’ll find you can walk for at least a mile in one direction on Seacliff beach. Or, bring a...More

We stopped here for a quick picnic lunch on a road trip. All we wanted were picnic tables, a restroom, and a pretty view and that’s exactly what we got. There were several picnic tables close to the parking area and restrooms. The beach was...More

We stayed near this beach and enjoyed walks along the quiet beach several mornings. There isn’t a lot of debris or crowds. I saw people fishing, doing yoga, enjoying a run, and a lot of walkers. Lots of friendly dogs on leashes.

Pretty and big beach. Lots of parking. There is an old shipwreck at the end of the old pier. The rv area was full of trailers and rv's.

I doubt it. People who reserve spaces at Seacliff often do so months in advance. It's hard to imagine a company delivering an RV to a customer there.
