They have filled in the marina and let nature reclaim the slough. Wildlife have returned and if your lucky you'll see strippers coming in to chase the chad when they run. Walk way out on the jetty and slat grass will make you disappear.

I usually arrive in this area to meet friends for lunch in Alvis and I always enjoy stopping by and watching the birds. Great view of the end of the bay

Looks big. The marhlands and water body that essentially has saline water. One can see job of hike along the bank. Beautiful and clean

It was late afternoon and we stopped to check out Alviso Marina County Park. It was a pleasant stroll with the sun almost setting and a gentle breeze blowing. It was the perfect place to photograph wildflowers and watch the birds overhead.
