This is where town meets gown on the corner border Auburn University and the City of Auburn. A great place to find souvenirs and a delicious light lunch with its trade-mark, fresh-squeezed lemonade or homemade cherry/Coke soda. Original drugstore floors and wooden shelves with old photographs of the town and college. A not-to-be-missed tradition!! War Eagle!

We had to try the lemonade from Toomer's and it was excellent, this downtown area was especially fun on game day with all the game day hype. The area speaks of some of the Old times that were great I am sure.

Toomer's is known for amazing hand squeezed lemonade but they also serve light lunches that are fabulous. Sandwiches, hotdogs, soups and baked potatoes all made to order right behind an old fashioned soda counter. Not a lot of seating but the food is good and the prices are even better. My favorite is a simple grilled cheese. My son loves... More

If you are an Auburn fan, then this becomes close to s shrine and have to see location - and you already know that. If you are a more refined person loving teams from Tuscaloosa, then you think, what's the big deal - but we still apologize for the idiot who killed the oaks.

For many years I've heard about the Lemonade at Toomer's. I finally had the opportunity to taste it today and it was everything I expected and more. Hands down, the BEST Lemonade I've ever had.

I had no idea what to expect when everyone said you have to go to Toomers Corner if you visit Auburn and get a lemonade. I like lemonade but its not something I go out of my way to get. It was well worth the trip and the wait. You walk in and wait in a steady moving line to... More
