A Washington institution. Fabulous authors speak here every day. Current owners have expanded and improved the store and its offerings in many ways. Great vibe and cafe. Good classes offered. Support your local gems like this!

It's a DC landmark . They do readings and signings . It's a real treasure . What all bookstores should be . If you love books and coffee , you could easy spend half a day there .

Politics & Prose is my favorite spot. We live across the street and go here all the time – great author events, huge selection, go-to spot for finding gifts, knowledgeable staff, cozy coffee shop downstairs.
