I highly recommend this on a Friday evening while visiting Washington DC. You need to go online and place a reservation even though there's no cost! The Marines are active and so well trained; it's a must see!

Air Force vet here, but the Friday evening parade is a must for anyone. The precision is amazing in all aspects, well choreographed, fabulous music by a portion of the Marine Band and the separate Drum and Bugle Corps, etc., etc. Makes one very proud!

We saw the last parade of the season and it was incredible. The history of the barracks itself and the fine men and women of the parade put on an excellent show. It was amazing and definitely a must do event. The parades are every...More

To completely understand this ceremony you should know that this Barracks and the white sided house at the end of the parade deck are the oldest inhabited federal buildings in Washington DC. During the war of 1812 against the British, the US Marines, though completely...More
