This charming early 1800's house has been lovingly restored. Full of period furniture and paintings and decorations. Surprisingly it is not normally very crowded. Perhaps because people think its official/government. It does have a nice gift shop too.

Absolutely beautiful mansion in the heart of historic area of DC. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable. Looks like it did back in 1800.

Had a good guided tour of this historic old house. The management and staff are very friendly, informative and helpful and the property is well taken care of as well. :)
