Older theatre in a good location. Lobby is kinda small, not much room to move around. Concessions are outrageously priced! Seats are nicely padded and a decent size. Leg room is terrible. Almost impossible to get to a seat in the middle of a row.

Very nice theater, good views from every angle, even if we were on the floor in the middle. The seats were comfy, though they could use just a bit more knee room. No photography of the interior was allowed even before the show started and...More

This was the first time I go to a theater since high school and I have been missing out. The way the sound is projected to the audience it's better than the movies.

Excellent production -- new music really freshened things up. Wonderful staging, sets, and acting. Toto, of course, stole the show!

We saw Cinderella, Annie and Wizard of Oz this year at the National Theatre. Although the theatre is old, it is in pretty decent shape and it is a fun place to see a show. While the Kennedy Center is a much grander experience, the...More

If you're early, there is metered parking on the street in front...not sure when the meters are in affect or what the maximum time limit is. We were there on a Sunday night and there is an underground garage on 13th ST... More

I suggest you try looking at websites, including "culture capital" site. It looks like the National Theater is dark this August, and Phantom of the Opera is one of the shows at the Kennedy Center (it has 3 separate venues... More
