This is one of the best views in DC. You can have drinks and overlook the White House and mall. Drinks are not cheap, and they could use a couple more bartenders, but done let that stop you. The experience is really enjoyable, so buy a few drinks and relax while taking in the sites.

Read about this spot on Trip Advisor and thought I'd check it out before meeting family for dinner elsewhere. Got to the terrace just as the sun was setting - amazing view of the White House and the Washington Monument. I guess I was early - not many others were there to enjoy the view with me - felt like... Went here the evening of the 17th to get a drink and the service here was lacking. There was no attending to people coming in who wanted a drink. Was sent basically back downstairs from the hostess. So just took a few pictures and left.

Get out your wallet, 'cause this is gonna cost you. But, the view is well worth the overpriced drinks. Surprisingly friendly and helpful bartenders after encountering the snooty hostess, who informed us that the minimum tab to sit at a table was $40 per person... what!!!??? So we grabbed a couple drinks & waited for people to leave their bar... More

A pricier option, but worth the beautiful views! We were able to walk in (a holiday Monday around noon) and get a table overlooking the White House. The service was excellent and our server was very polite and friendly. The food isn't worth the price, but it was decent (you are paying for the views). There is also a bar... More

We recently visited Washington and were recommended the POV roof terrace above the W Hotel for a sunset drink. With views over looking the White House, Washington Monument and Lincoln Memorial, we were not disappointed, and the sunset was magnificent. We were so impressed we went back for dinner the following evening and the food was a good standard for... More

We visited for lunch on a Saturday and were given a nice table overlooking the White House. The prawn pizza was excellent and the lamb merguez was pretty decent as well. Service was friendly and the cocktails decent. We paid $95 including service. A decent lunch option, but it seems they have a lot more rules if visiting in the... More

The place has an upscale but casual vibe, at least on Sunday. Food is slightly overpriced, but I suppose the view overlooking the White House is worth the price. We went for a snack, so we shared the burger (22$) and got a glass of sparkly. The service was just okay.. maybe my standards are a bit high, but for... More

Booked the White House view with US$200 minimum as a special occasion on our first visit to Washington from Australia, and was disappointed to arrive to dirty plastic blinds obstructing the "view" of sunset and the White House. Of course in the cooler weather conditions the blinds might be necessary but they are not used or mentioned in the advertising... More
