My husband and I attended 9am Sunday Eucharist here during our recent visit to DC. The Cathedral is stunning and it was very neat to attend a service here.

Very easy trip from Crystal City and on site pay parking made the time well spent. Such an impressive Cathedral that rivals those in Europe. It's modern in the sense that it was completed in the 20th Century yet visually could be hundreds of years...More

The actual church is quite beautiful and rivals the best of Europes church's in my opinion. With that said I'll be honest. I have a problem when a church commercializes itself like this episcopal church. A massive gift shop in the basement is one thing....More

A wonderfully impressive cathedral inside and out. Every turn had something beautiful - stained glass windows, architecture, etc. Look for the space-inspired window in the main cathedral. Make sure to head up to the 6th floor for great city views, and also to the lower...More

We expecially enjoyed visiting the National Cathedral because it was less crowded than many of the other D.C. attractions. The architecture is amazing and you get wonderful views of the city from the upper walkways.

I don't know if there's a bad seat in the house, at least when the organ is being played. The pipes are at the front, but the horns are in the rear – and it's the most amazing organ I've ever heard in person. However, if... More
