So this is where most of the decisions are made. Our first visit to "El Capitolio" was in Havana 10 years ago, almost a replica. This is the real deal of course, and as a extra treat we met Nolan Gould from Modern Family.

Awesome scale and the white edifice and green surrounds make for a great view of where power sits. Lots of paths around, lots of things to do in the area.

Not like the ole days.. This building has so much history.. So much new has been added but it is the old that is important.

What a stunning tour. You start with a wonderful film then a tour. We then went back into the house to watch. It was an inspiration to see how proud the Americans are of their history and institutions. A wonderful building shown to us by a wonderful tour guide

This is a powerful place. My one suggestion, arrange a tour through your local Representative or Senator instead of the public tour

It was great for us visitors to see where it all happens especially as Trump wasn't long into his tenure as President, very cool and impressive and a great insight into your history,a must see when in your Nations Capital.

This building is indeed beautiful and majestic. You see it from many points of the city but the best view is from the national Mall. We did not visit the Visitors Centre as we run out of time but I understand it is well worth it.
