This is my first visit at Kennedy Center, the concert hall well designed, even sat at the last row of 2nd tier, still can see and listen well. As for the performance the leading role mezzo-soprano and soprano (Micaela) did a wonderful job, as well...More

The Kennedy Center is a well known attraction. Not so well known is that there are daily free activities in the Millennium Auditorium. Show up at 5:30 to get the tickets.

We visited this building as part of an illumination tour of the capital. It's stunning at night, very imposing & built alongside the Pontomac River. The gallery of flags is wonderful, as is the terrace & bust of JFK.

A beautiful facility for amazing performances and events. We were fortunate to see "Beautiful" - a Carole King musical, during our stay in DC. We also appreciated the shuttle they offer to and from the Foggy Bottom, Metro station.

This place is beautiful. The pictures don't do it justice. I went to see Carmen at the Opera House and it was an amazing show. The bar cart was a little over priced but it was expected at a venue like this. Most women wore...More

A great place to enjoy the arts, overlooking the Potomac on the west side of Washington, the Center provides a full menu of options in theatre, opera, concerts, dance and films. The performance venues are artistic prizes in their own right with excellent seating and...More

I recently attended the McDonald's Inspiration Celebration Gospel Tour at the Kennedy Center, and it was a wonderful night of gospel music. The Kennedy Center is a superb venue for the event because the Concert Hall is beautifully appointed, has great seating throughout and the...More

People wear everything to the Kennedy Center. My preference is the little black dress, but you will see long dresses and slacks as well. Metro is safe (depending on your stop) but as previous commenter wrote, be aware of... More

We often go to Circa in Foggy Bottom. The free bus to the Kennedy Center is right across the street. We also take the bus back to the same location to get a taxi home since the Center is so mobbed after the show.
