Interesting place, great building, awesome view of the mall from the large red spotted window (not sure what the spots are all about!) Modern art isn't my thing but i gave it a go and found some interesting stuff in there, as well as some very odd stuff. One room is completely full of a black tissue paper covered....thing! You... The way this gallery is constructed, it certainly provides for a good view of the art - it's easy to work you way through the different sections. While there are a few things like Calder sculptures, most of the art is very current. There is an exhibit of orchids there right now that is beautiful - so many colors and... More

This is a nice, quick little museum to walk through for an 'off-the-beaten path' experience. While definitely for fans of modern art, we 'average Joes' just enjoyed seeing something rather different. There were plenty of really interesting pieces and others we just strolled by. For a quick 30 minute-ish experience, it was well worth walking in. The gift shop on... More

This museum isn't as popular or crowded as the other ones, however it definitely has unique qualities to it. There is a permanent collection as well as changing collections. According to one of the guides, the collections change a couple times a year so you can always see something different. It is not for everyone, and has some abstract art... More

This is only for those that enjoy modern art. I spent a lot of time looking at things and wondering why they were considered art. One art piece consisted of several video screens depicting an artist being spit on by his mother at various stages of his life. So if you do like modern art this may be for you.... More

A great place to see favourite abstract impressionists and learn about newer emerging masters. The sunken sculpture garden is a great place to escape with a cup of coffee.

This museum never fails to amaze and inspire. A fantastic permanent collection and always intriguing special exhibits. It's true you may not like or understand everything you see, but it gets you thinking and it's that the point?

This museum is for lovers of modern art and sculpture. The outside sculpture gallery is impressive. It is not for everyone. If you limited time other museums are better for you to visit.

The contemporary and modern art museum is quite amazing. Its always something new, different and tantalizing to see just around the corner. I got a chance to visit when the Suspended Animation exhibit was there. One of my favorites was Agnieszka Polska "I Am the Mouth" and Ed Atkins “Warm, Warm, Warm Spring Mouths” genius. Overall this museum is filled... More

First this is an easy museum to do. No line, easy to navigate, easy to get through. The teens found the performance art exhibits mesmerizing. And the museum shop is fun. Age wise recommend kids at least 10 years old. Younger could get bored.
