Good to see the vets have the recognition for their bravery. So sad to see pictures of lost loved ones. I particularly liked seeing the vets themselves being escorted with their guardians. Well done America for caring about your vets

Magnificent memorial. There are multiple volunteers to help you find a name if needed. The is a silence while walking through this memorial that is like no other.

Please take more than a few minutes and just reflect on all the names on the wall. Their sacrifice deserves more than just walking past it to get to the Lincoln Memorial.

Compared to the other memorials in DC it may not seem that dramatic unless you served there or had family or friends that did. I have spent hours just looking over the names on the wall

I think your vet friend needs to fill out an application at the honor flight website. I believe the guardians/escorts are volunteers or staff members of honor flight and anyone accompanying the veteran would have to pay for... More

I stayed at the Monaco Hotel, and walked everywhere--It could not have been more convenient....well, maybe with the exception of the Lincoln Bedroom.
