Stopped here while on a motorcycle ride. While it was after Labor Day and mid-week the place was empty. You had your pick of campsites. The restrooms were clean and the water was good near the campsites. Campsites had fire pits and picnic tables and paved driveways. Sites were in the trees and shaded. The lake was nearby. I could... Lower campground has bigger spots, short walk to lake. Very busy & loud day use on weekends, but peaceful during week. We had items stolen in the night along with many others in our loop. We spent a week & enjoyed it otherwise. Exceptionally clean vault toilets & great camp hosts. We camped for a week in a 5th wheel.

Stayed over 4th of July weekend. Primitive sites that have water hookup go rv's. Pit toilets and small store with limited items. They do sell firewood. Has boat launch, boat, seadoo, kayak rentals. Excellent location. Level campsites with fir pits. Also have cabin rentals. Lots of hiking with Access to the Pacific crest trail. Really a family orientated outfit. Well maintained... More

So quiet & beautiful. BSA scout camp Fife is nearby. Good access via all weather roads. Lots of solar panels in use - no electric service.

We were driving on Chinook Scenic Byway SR410 from Naches towards Enumclaw and did a side trip to Bumping Lake. It was a easy turn off into Bumping River Rd (scenic road with tall alpine trees) that led us to the lake. It was a fantastic discovery. As we visited off season, we have the pristine lake and mountains reflections... More

What a beautiful campground! The only reason that I gave it a 4 was because it was so dry and dusty. Not that anyone has control of that at all! The campsites are clean and so are the pit toilets. Some of the campsites sit right above the lake so they have beautiful views of the lake and also the... More

This was my first time up there and it was absolutely beautiful with the view and fishing unfortunately the campground host was less than hospitable. Mr.and Mrs. Bradley kicked us out after one night for taking dirt bikes with us even though we didn't ride them in the area and said that we looked like vandals because a few people... More

We spent a few days here and loved it. The campsites are spacious and not on top of each other, we were at site 57, the lake was a short walk away. It was our first time camping in a place with no showers and for a short stay it really wasn't a big deal. The water pump was a... More

We stayed for a few nights in site #45, which was fantastic with it's ample room, no close-by "neighbors" and direct, close access to the water. The lake is nestled beautifully between the surrounding mountains and makes for excellent pictures! The reservation site states that check-in isn't suppose to be until 4 p.m., but the camp's host was more than... More

This is by far my favorite campground now! With a tranquil lake setting surrounded by mountains on all sides, this campground has a far more relaxing environment than most. We brought our Kayak and enjoyed a very calm lake filled with endless space to enjoy! If you're into fishing, there's plenty of that too. Our kids wanted to spend every... More
