A must hike for outdoors enthusiasts! While hiking from the trailhead is possible, i recommend hiking to the Lunch counter and spending the night there. 12miles round trip with 6700ft of elevation gain Reccomend crampons anywhere after the lunch counter, even with good bootpack. This has to have the most disappointing false summits in the country, but power through and... More

I was here a few days ago to attempt my first mountain climb, and I went solo. After training on Mt. Hood, where you smell diesel fumes, listen to the roar of snowmobiles, and dodge extreme skiers from 6000-8000 ft., Adams was much more peaceful and wild. From the slopes of Adams you can see Mt. Hood and St. Helens.... More
