You have to be in a good shape to feel comfortable to reach Ramsay cascade because total distance is about 8 miles - 4 miles up and 4 miles down. But it worth because of beautiful nature, river and finally - Ramsay cascade.

Simply fantastic...The hike is tricky...and you have to be in moderate shape to complete it... It took us (group of friends in our mid 20s) 5-6 hrs roughly...but we made lots of stops on our way up and spent 20 mins at the falls..It was also raining heavily.. If you plan on doing this trail make sure you are in pretty good shape or you wont enjoy it. I had no real issue doing the trail, but my wife who does not hike as much as I do had real issues doing the trail. I breezed through chimney tops and had no issue with any other trails in... More

Ramsay cascades is a trail which gains the max elevation during the hike..roughly 200 feet. The hike is totally worth though. We visited the cascades in march but on the day we visted it was raining heavily and snowing. We were a bit sceptical but once we started the hike it was fun. The trail was totally clad in snow...
