We were travelling from Cannon beach to Newport. On the way we saw this viewpoint and couldn't stop ourselves from stopping at this location. We were lucky to have sunshine and the ocean view was awesome. We spent nearly 20-30 minutes here and everyone was...More

October 17, 2016. A must stop along your trip up or down the Oregon Coast!!! We spend nearly an hour just taking in the cool ocean breeze and snapping some family keepsake photos!

We had a little bit of a disappointing time at Neahkahnie, but only because it was so smokey because of the wildfires that seeing the view was very, very difficult. We took the South Trail up the mountain, and it was about 3 miles round...More

So it's 100 degrees in Portland, Or so we decided to beat the heat and head to the coast to hike Neahkahnie Mountain. It was 76 degrees and beautiful views. There are two parts South and North. The beginning is North. But if you want...More
