Beautiful lake and park.

This is a beautiful place to visit. The beach is clean and the grounds are beautiful. The foliage is getting there but not peak yet.

I come from a scouting family, Boy scouts and Girl scouts. We love the outdoors, camping, cooking, hiking etc. When we usually go camping with scouts we don't have the comforts we had at Taconic Park Copake Falls. 7 family members and I travelled for a 2 day camping trip. When we arrived we stopped at a Mom & Pop... More

Stopped in to ride around and check it out. Camping, cabins, a gorgeous lake, beach, very well kept. Clean, calm and peaceful. So impressed.

Very nice area for leaf peeping. Less crowded than some other places in NY. Will go there again in 2015

The site is definitely NOT for people that are used to the city. It's a very peaceful place, but somw bug spray recommended.

I entered this area through Taconic State Park and passed up the path to Bash Bish falls as the Mass entrance looked shorter. It may be shorter, but it is all steps. The New York entrance is a flat train track bed style trail that brings you right there. If you are older or have kids, I would highly recommend... More

We went camping at Lake Tagkahnic/Copake and decided to check out Rudd Pond for the day (as admission was included in our camping pass!). We headed over with another family, four adults and four kiddos altogether (ages 2, 5, 6). We were pleasantly surprised at how nice the park was. It was not at all busy/crazy. The swings and playground... More

Lots of trails and walking Areas in Taconic Park in the corner of NY, NY and Conn. We hiked from the NY side up a trail to see the Copake Falls in Mass. It was a bit of a up hill so wear good shoes and stop at the Mass covering to grab a photo of your friends in both... More

Ok this is for the RUDD POND area I have now stayed at both sites out of the two I would stay at the falls again. Staff nice, sites nice, no real trees or bush to separate you from other campers but nice. I went this past weekend 5/23/14-5/26/14 and this is the first weekend the place is open for... More
