Cloud Peak is the tallest peak in the Bighorn Mountain range in north-central WY. This is a 13100 foot peak which can be scrambled-up on the SW ridge, usually entering from the Tensleep trailhead in the south end of the Bighorns. The views are spectacular. The solitude is good, on weekdays anyway, and once you are past the day-hikers range.... More

Great Place to stay in Billings. People are friendly, rooms are very nice, good location. Have not used the water park area, but looks like the kids have fun. They have a small bar, nice place to have a night cap and meet some new people. Worth the money, and it is relatively close to other standard hotels. I also... More

He were dreading the drive from Sheridan to Cody when we realized we had to cross the mountains The views were fantastic, there was also things to do after the drive up. There was a really nice lake people were canoeing and fishing in So glad we chose to drive that route it was a real highlight

Another place we like to return to, partly because of the unmatched views, but also for the quiet. We were a little disappointed to find the Porcupine campground overrun by quad enthusiasts, who weren't the most courteous campers. However, the drive is still gorgeous, saw a storm coming in as we ascended toward the Medicine Wheel and met a man... More

It's scenic, there are some great photo stops and when the sun is out there are some beautiful colours in the moutains. It is a little windy but not that sharp bends, overall easy driving. If your passing through the area, this road is worth the extra miles/kilometres it takes.

We enjoyed the day exploring all the runs. Unfortunately it was quite cloudy on top so we got lost in the fog. They could use better signage and fog poles. We bought our tickets at Costco for$99 for two. Good bargain. The tickets are redy to use so no ticket lineups. Definitely would come back.
